PURPOSE: Responsible to provide excellence in administration and teaching for the undergraduate nursing program through the fulfillment of the School of Nursing’s Purposes, Mission, and Philosophy. Provide leadership and direction in meeting established goals that are consistent with the School of Nursing’s strategic goals established by the Chief Nurse Administrator/Assistant Dean for the School of Nursing. Manage program curriculum. Secure and hire staff. Supervise program expenditures, keeping within established SON’s budget. Oversee the recruitment and retention of undergraduate nursing students.
