Higher Ed Administrative Careers - Provosts/Vice Presidents
The Vice President of Enrollment oversees the policies, procedures, structures, and personnel relating to the University’s efforts to attract leads and applicants with the ultimate goal of student matriculation at Ohio Christian University. The Vice President of Enrollment is responsible for meeting the University’s strategic goals for recruitment in both the Online and Circleville programs and serves on the President’s Executive Cabinet.
Duties and Responsibilities
(Any one position may not include all of the listed duties, nor do all of the listed examples include all tasks which may be found in positions within this classification)
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the enrollment area.
Identify and employ current enrollment best practices in recruitment for all University programs and marketing to drive consistent enrollment growth across programs in alignment with institutional goals.
Aid in setting tuition and other key fees, with the CFO.
Administer academic, regional, and international scholarships, working with the Provost & Business Office.
Manage and lead the recruitment team, including the Director of Online Admissions and the Director of Circleville Admissions
Initiate and analyze relevant data and market trends in planning, decision-making, reporting, and management.
Assure policies and procedures are in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
Provide support and counsel to the President regarding recruitment.
According to Ohio Christian University employment policy, all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the OCU Community Lifestyle Statement.
Education, Training and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
A history of supervisory experience including staff recruitment, development, and management.
7-10 years of progressively higher levels of responsibility in enrollment management in a university setting.
Relevant experience with the development and use of data and analytics, and in-depth knowledge of current policy, enrollment trends, technology, and practices to make informed decisions.
Preference for an individual with online education experience and a proven track record of establishing enrollment strategies for online students.
