The Daniels Fund, established by cable television pioneer Bill Daniels, is a private charitable foundation dedicated to making life better for the people of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming through its grants program, scholarship program, and ethics initiative.
The Daniels Fund strives to ensure its work reflects both Bill Daniels’ written directives, values, and unmistakable style. Bill was a patriotic American who served our country in two wars. He was a capitalist who loved our free enterprise system and was well known for his generosity to people from all walks of life. Guided by his compassion, Bill transferred his $1 billion estate to form the assets of the Daniels Fund to carry forward his legacy of giving.

The Scholar Success Officer provides support to Daniels Scholars as they track toward college completion, post-graduation employment and sustained community engagement, while maintaining and extending the legacy of our founder, Bill Daniels.
The Daniels Scholarship Program offers a four-year college scholarship that provides financial and personal support focused on helping Daniels Scholars succeed in college, and in life. Every year, Daniels Scholars are selected from our four-state region of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. Daniels Scholars have attended more than 400 colleges and universities in 48 states. Through March 2021, the Daniels Scholarship Program has provided more than $220 million in undergraduate scholarships to over 4,600 students.
The Scholar Success Officer supports Daniels Scholars to succeed in college and in life and will:
Manage the success of a group of Daniels Scholars in the scholarship program as they track toward college completion by communicating regularly and providing needed guidance and resources.
Manage the Scholar Relations database for a group of Daniels Scholars.
Monitor scholar compliance with scholarship expectations and requirements including assessing academic performance, development of graduation plans, and work verification reports.
Serve as the point person for the cohort to assess, process and evaluate individual requests in accordance with the requirements and policies.
Field and monitor the Scholar Relations email account and phone line to ensure responsiveness to Scholar needs.
Assist with verification of Grad Plans.
Actively seek efficiencies to streamline existing processes for greater efficiency and impact.
Collaborate on programmatic activities to develop character, leadership, and a commitment to serving the community for scholars.
Encourage scholars to attend career fairs and other career related events.
Support information technology and payment support of program management, in coordination with the Scholarship Program Manager.
Enforce the Daniels Scholar Code of Conduct and manage disciplinary situations in conjunction with the Senior Vice President.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position will be in the range of $65,000 to $85,000 and is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Daniels Fund offers a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, health, dental, vision insurance, LTD, life insurance, a matched 401k retirement plan and a host of additional benefits.
