Admissions Coordinator Position available as soon as possible Full-Time, Non-Exempt Location: Washington, DC (Remote Work is a possibility) The Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) invites applications for an admissions coordinator who is excited to use creativity, organization, energy and excellent communication skills to promote the CCCU GlobalEd (formerly BestSemester) off-campus study programs to students from our CCCU member schools. The Admissions Coordinator will serve as the primary admissions counselor responsible for advising and enrolling students into our American Studies Program, Middle East Studies Program and Scholars’ Semester in Oxford. Admissions recruitment, counseling, student outreach and enrollment management are all primary functions of this position. In addition, this position assists in coordinating campus outreach and marketing initiatives for CCCU GlobalEd programs.
CCCU GlobalEd is known for faith-integrated, academically challenging and experience-based programing with excellent faculty and staff. The person in this position will have the opportunity to provide support to on-site program staff in several areas (marketing, applications and enrollment, campus relations, crisis management and curricular development and planning).

Core Responsibilities: Primary duties as the admissions counselor for the American Studies Program, Middle East Studies and Scholars’ Semester in Oxford include: - Maintain an active and engaging communication plan with students, parents, and off-campus study coordinators via phone calls, texts, emails, direct mail, etc.
- Identify, recruit, and enroll prospective students into the programs, and provide up-to date student reports as needed
- Provide admissions counseling to prospective applicants on the distinctive features, financial aid policies, and admissions process of the programs
- Communicate with program directors to ensure admissions decisions are made within two weeks of application completion
- Participate as an active member of the recruitment team in developing special programs and research projects, developing/implementing enrollment strategies, and developing/distributing promotional materials
- Maintain and update student information and program applications in Terra Dotta and Microsoft Dynamics
- Coordinate visas, Basic Information Guides, Travel Memos, and other pre-departure materials for distribution for the programs
- Attend study abroad fairs and campus visits as assigned
Secondary duties relating to administrative services or campus relations coordination may include: - Maintain current program folders (semester schedules, key dates, emergency contacts, evaluations, travel, etc.)
- Process transcript requests from past GlobalEd students
- Assist with the coordination of campus visit travel schedules and campus visit reporting
- Organize campus visit reporting
- Coordinate campus outreach initiatives for faculty and administrators
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
