Purpose The Vice President for Enrollment Management is responsible to develop and implement strategic planning and recruiting initiatives for enrollment growth that assist the University to achieve its mission and fulfill its vision. The Vice President for Enrollment Management has primary responsibility for student recruitment (undergraduate, graduate, online, nontraditional) as well as student financial aid services within budgetary guidelines. The Vice President for Enrollment Management must demonstrate the ability to lead teams toward identified goals, understanding of marketing processes and public relations, data analytics and metrics, and financial aid packaging. Among the many abilities required for this position are communication, collaboration, training, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
Essential Functions • Lead in systems thinking for teams, strategic planning, and initiative implementation for student recruitment (undergraduate, graduate, online, nontraditional), student retention (as appropriate), and student financial aid packaging. • Develop, implement, and coordinate student recruitment and marketing strategies and materials with the Office of Marketing and Communications (REM Process). • Develop, implement, and coordinate with the Director of Admissions and Director of Graduate and Online Recruitment all recruiting structures, strategies, and enrollment goals. • Develop, implement, and coordinate with Director of Student Financial Services all policies, processes, and strategies to provide for student aid packaging. • Supervise all decisions, procedures, and activities associated with enrollment management. • Coordinate and determine registration and enrollment procedures with all relevant departments. • Develop, assess, and supervise all institutional budgets associated with this position. • Serve on the President’s Cabinet (Executive Leadership Team). • All other duties as assigned by the President.

Qualifications Education • Required: Bachelor’s degree • Preferred: Master’s degree Experience • Required: The Vice President for Enrollment Management must have formal training and experience that demonstrates leadership and strategic planning in admissions, student financial services, financial aid, and marketing. The Vice President for Enrollment Management must demonstrate familiarity working in a context of Christian liberal arts college/university. • Preferred: Experience working in an evangelical Christian college or university Knowledge, Skills, Abilities • Ability to lead diverse publics. • Ability to develop and execute strategic planning initiatives. • Ability to execute toward agreed upon goals based upon data and metrics. • Ability to develop and administrate complex budgets. • Ability to recruit, lead, and evaluate talent. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Collaborative work habits and ability to establish collegial relationships; able to participate actively in a team environment. • Strong interpersonal relationship and communication skills. • Organizational efficiency and attention to detail. • Ability to work quickly with high degree of accuracy. • Ability to multi-task. • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately. Physical Requirements • Ability to travel extensively and participate in recruiting initiatives and mobility to attend events in diverse physical environments and facilities • Ability to sit for extended periods of time and to lift 30 lbs.
