Associate Dean of the School of Health & Movement Sciences
The Associate Dean of the School of Health & Movement Sciences has the authority and responsibility for the delivery of academic programs in accordance with School, College, and University strategic plans; hiring and evaluation of School personnel, to include faculty and staff; budgeting; and resource management. The Associate Dean of the School of Health & Movement Sciences has the authority and responsibility for the hiring and evaluation of the Missouri Baptist University Human Performance Laboratory personnel, including faculty, staff, and students; budgeting; and resource management. As a member of the College administration, the Associate Dean coordinates the School’s activity with the activities of other units in the College and the University and, in collaboration with other members of the administration, assists in developing and implementing College initiatives. This position will report to the Dean of the College of Science & Health.
Minimum Qualifications
Earned doctorate or appropriate terminal degree from an accredited university in a Human Science or related field preferred. However, candidates without a terminal degree will be considered.
Experience in the field of exercise physiology, kinematics, and human performance required. Experience teaching at the college level is preferred but not required.
