The agriculture department at the College of the Ozarks is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Agriculture Education/ Agriculture Business with responsibilities that include teaching in these subject areas, working with secondary education institutions, the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and advising in the subject area of agriculture education.
An ideal candidate will be a talented, enthusiastic individual who will enhance our agriculture education instruction program by providing primary instruction in agriculture education and leadership for courses related to agriculture education and preparing future agriculture teachers, advising undergraduate students, supervising agriculture education teaching candidates and student teachers. This candidate must also be willing to teach classes in agriculture business.
This position requires an earned M.S. in Agriculture Education with an emphasis in Agriculture Business, with a Ph.D. preferred. The ideal starting date for this position is spring 2025 or fall 2025.
