LeTourneau University invites applications from exceptionally qualified candidates for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Mathematics at either the assistant or associate professor level. Office hours are primarily weekdays, but responsibilities may require additional hours and flexibility that can include evenings and weekends.
Enthusiasm for integrating faith and learning in the classroom in a way that both educates and disciples students
A PhD in Mathematics or Statistics from an accredited institution
Willingness to participate actively in the university learning community by serving on department, school, and/or university committees and special service assignments
Willingness to participate in student advising, success, and retention programs
Commitment to academic scholarship in the field of expertise
Required teaching load: four courses per semester
Salary and Benefits
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and other qualifications. LeTourneau University offers group health insurance plans, life insurance, contribution to a retirement program, and undergraduate tuition waivers for employees and their dependents, among other benefits.
