Anderson University invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Campus Minister for Women’s Ministries and Community Missions. Reporting to the Vice President for Christian Life, the Assistant/Associate Campus Minister for Women’s Ministries and Community Missions is responsible for coordinating and overseeing a dynamic Women’s Ministry and developing multifaceted Community Missions opportunities for students, faculty, and staff. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Director of Campus Ministries and the Assistant Campus Minister for BCM in supporting evangelism, discipleship, and mentoring efforts for AU Campus Ministries with a special emphasis on female students in the Traditional Undergraduate Program, planning strategic women’s events and social gatherings that reach women who are involved in Campus Ministries as well as those who are not involved, developing and overseeing multifaceted Community Missions opportunities for students, faculty, and staff, and serving as a liaison for community partners to campus clubs/organizations, athletic teams, and academic and administrative areas. This position also provides pastoral care and crisis ministry in coordination with the Christian Life staff and Student Development.
Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (with at least some concentration in ministry preparation) from an accredited institution and previous experience in ministry, preferably to college students. A mature and contagious Christian faith along with a strong commitment to quality relationships, sincerity, excellence, and Christ-like service is essential, along with the ability to work with a diverse student population and a commitment to the academic and Christ-focused mission of Anderson University. Master’s degree preferred.
