McGraw School of Business at Olivet Nazarene University seeks a full-time faculty member to support a growing degree in the School of Business beginning August 2025. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Benefits are competitive.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Teach reduced course load of core entrepreneurship courses.
2. University service, including advising and mentoring students, supervising professional certifications, advising students organizations such as meeting with prospective students, and serving on university committees.
3. Support of the program’s continuous quality improvements, assessment, and professional certification activities.
4. Liaison to ONU VC Group.
5. Coordinator of annual ONU Entrepreneurship Conference/Competition.
6. Coordinate the development of the ONU VC Group marketing website.
7. Coordinate/supervise the ONU PLUS Entrepreneurship division.
8. Coordinate networking of alumni/entrepreneurs to mentors students through the Accelerator Program.
9. Coordinate alumni/entrepreneur classroom guest speakers.
10. Coordinate Internships with Olivet Entrepreneurs.
11. Honor “The Top 25 ONU Entrepreneurs”.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

1. A lifestyle in agreement with the ONU Statement of Mission, Faith, and Lifestyle Covenant.
2. A passions for teaching and support of Olivet’s mission are essential.
3. Professional practice and/or industry experience are highly desirable.
4. Should be able to articulate the integration of the Christian faith and entrepreneurship practice.

EDUCATION

A master’s degree in business or marketing is required and/or an earned PhD in entrepreneurship or business related field.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The School of Business is located on the main floor of the Weber Center, on the main campus of Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION

Salary ranges between $50,000-$80,000 and is determined by education and experience.

Olivet offers the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and a Masters in Entrepreneurship.
