Northwestern College has a full-time position opening, beginning July 1, for an individual who will assist in the marketing & communications office’s efforts to advance the college’s brand broadly and deeply through a variety of projects. Responsibilities will include:
Posting news releases, job openings and calendar items on the website
Cataloging images in Northwestern’s photo database
Disseminating news releases to media outlets
Coordinating the ordering of employee business cards and nametags
Writing basic news releases and profiles on students, alumni and faculty/staff
Conducting clerical tasks and other projects as needed
The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience. This individual must possess proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel; excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities and commitment to customer service; strong attention to detail; competence in writing and editing; and experience with, or ability to become competent in the use of, Adobe Photoshop and website content management systems.
