The Department of Nursing in the School of Science, Engineering and Health at Messiah University invites applications for a two-year full-time lecturer nursing faculty position to teach courses in the Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
Qualifications: Minimum ofMaster of Science degree in nursing with appropriate clinical practice certifications; doctoral degree in nursing preferred (PhD or DNP) or current enrollment in doctoral study. Graduate preparation in nursing education is preferred, with previous didactic and clinical teaching experience, particularly in medical-surgical nursing and foundations/health assessment. Candidate should be committed to excellence in teaching in a Christian liberal arts setting. Must have a current, valid professional nursing license in Pennsylvania, or approved multi-state license.
Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate nursing courses in the medical-surgical specialty as follows: Nursing Care of Adults and Older Adults I and II; Pathophysiology; Health Assessment; Foundations of Nursing Practice; Pharmacology. Oversee students in the clinical setting and simulation lab as required by the clinical courses.

Compensation: Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
