The Westmont College Nursing Department is seeking a dedicated and experienced nursing professional to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor. This position focuses on teaching, mentoring, and contributing to the growth of our nursing program. We are looking for a candidate with a strong clinical and academic background who is passionate about educating and inspiring the next generation of nursing professionals. Key Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate nursing courses; mentoring and advising nursing students, fostering both academic and professional growth; Engaging in scholarly activity, including research, publications, or other professional contributions to nursing knowledge and practice; collaborating with faculty to develop and enhance the nursing curriculum, incorporating best practices in education and healthcare; and participating in department and college service, including committee work and community outreach. Faculty members are expected to wholeheartedly embrace the mission of the College, in the Protestant evangelical tradition. Westmont is a Christian liberal arts college. Anticipated Hiring Range: $105,810 to $122,000 The pay range posted for this job opening reflects what Westmont College reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on relevant factors such as work experience, education, training, skill level, rank, and market conditions.
