Summary: The College of Nursing at Charleston Southern University is seeking qualified faculty candidates eligible for the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Nursing to fill full-time, 10-month faculty positions, to teach in the BSN and MSN programs. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate teaching, collaborating with current faculty, advising and participating in scholarly activities, community service, and serving on faculty committees and attending departmental meetings as required.

Qualifications: Candidates must have an earned Master's Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the teaching discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with an earned Doctorate in Nursing (PhD, EdD, or DNP), or alternatively qualified with appropriate supporting documentation.
Applicants should have at least five years full-time, direct patient care experience and must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the subject area to be taught and currency in the discipline.
The desirable candidate will have higher education teaching experience and be able to supervise students in clinical areas. The candidate must be a registered nurse within South Carolina and hold an unencumbered nursing license.
