Friends University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty member in the Division of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics to teach in and help to lead and develop our ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering undergraduate program. The ideal candidate will be able to teach a wide variety of topics in engineering coursework with special emphasis on fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and machine design, with the ability to incorporate the teaching of labs for some courses. Additionally, some program oversight and administration will be expected. This position is a tenure-track, nine-month faculty appointment and reports to the Division Chair of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
