Position Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President for Advancement, this employee will oversee and deliver the annual fund for Montreat College. This employee will utilize strategies to deliver the annual fund, including managing a portfolio of 250-300 annual giving and President’s Circle level donors, maintaining approximately quarterly touchpoints by phone, email, cards, video calls, and in-person meetings when advisable. This employee is responsible for the successful delivery of regular annual campaigns. This employee will represent Montreat College in a manner that encourages donors to support Christian higher education.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and deliver the annual fund for Montreat College. As of 2024, this represents a target of $1.74 Million with 3% growth projected in future years.
Create a pipeline of annual giving donors, moving donors into President’s Circle ($1,000+), major gifts and planned gifts.
Manage a portfolio of 250-300 annual giving and President’s Circle level ($250 to $2,500 per year) donors through the moves management process, maintaining contact primarily by phone, email, cards, video calls, and in-person meetings when advisable. Maintain approximately quarterly touchpoints.
Is responsible for successful delivery of Giving Tuesday, end of calendar year campaign, and end of fiscal year campaign. This employee is part of the team that delivers the goal for the Keystone Scholarship Dinner.
Write annual giving proposals to foundations, churches, and corporations. Submit reports to these entities following awards.
