Founded in Huntington, Indiana, in 1897 by the Church of the United Brethren in Christ, the University has over a century of experience educating graduates who are ready to impact the world for Christ through scholarship and service. As a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts, Huntington offers award-winning graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations, including animation and film, nursing, agriculture, psychology, and social work.

Huntington University seeks an exceptional, dedicated Christian leader who has conceived and successfully executed a strategic vision resulting in outstanding enterprise value growth. The next President must possess a deep love for developing students that is aligned specifically with a "calling" to the role of university president. The next leader will be expected to understand and respect the institutional legacy and culture of Huntington, even as he or she leads the university into a new future.
