The Department of Health, Human Performance, and Recreation in Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences at Baylor University invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor, Clinical Medical Sciences position in our Master of Science in Medical Science (MSMS) program starting in January 2025. Successful candidates will be able to teach a variety of large student cohort online courses within the MSMS curriculum with expertise in a variety of core MSMS courses such as biochemistry, pharmacology, clinical-based study of microorganisms, genetics/epigenetics regarding pathology, immunology, anatomy, biostatistics, medical ethics, and/or clinical research or public health and have preferred physiology experience in clinically relevant areas. This position is a 12-month appointment during the academic year. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
A terminal degree is required. Moreover, candidates with healthcare and/or allied healthcare experience and online teaching experience are preferred. Demonstration of excellence in teaching is essential.
This full-time position emphasizes teaching, although scholarly productivity is also appreciated. The department is interested in applicants from a variety of backgrounds that include but are not limited to: Medical Science, Physiology, Health Sciences, Kinesiology.
