Covenant College is a four-year, residential college offering degree programs in the sciences, arts, humanities, and in pre-professional disciplines. Covenant is one of only five members of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities that are ranked in the top tier of national liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report, and the only one of those located in the South (one of the more demographically vibrant regions of the country). The College boasts outstanding outcomes, both academically (94% of graduates who attend graduate school are enrolled in their first- or second-choice graduate program; recent placements include Columbia Law, NYU Law, Georgetown Law, Johns Hopkins School of International Studies, the University of Virginia’s School of Public Policy, Duke Medical School, Washington University Medical School, Cal-Berkeley’s PhD program in Economics) and spiritually (96% of graduates report that they remain committed to the Christian faith, and 95% report that they are members or regular attenders of a local church). Covenant is the college of the Presbyterian Church in America, standing squarely in the midst of a tradition that values deeply the redeeming work... of Jesus Christ in the lives of his people and the theological commitments of the Reformed tradition. The College is located on a stunningly beautiful, mountaintop campus and is adjacent to the vibrant city of Chattanooga, which was rated by Outside Magazine in 2016 as the Best Town Ever for those who love the outdoors and was described by President Barack Obama as a “tornado of innovation” for its dynamic startup scene.
