JOB DESCRIPTION The Department of Computing & Mathematics at Oral Roberts University is currently seeking applications for a full-time faculty position in Computer Science, which requires teaching courses exclusively on the university's campus. As a faculty member, you will serve on academic and university committees and attend chapel services. You will also be expected to actively engage in professional presentations and publications, and avail yourself of the opportunities for faculty development that are available. It is imperative that candidates demonstrate a Spirit-Empowered Christian commitment and are compatible with the university's honor code of conduct.
RESPONSIBILITIES Teach graduate and undergraduate computing courses Student advisory responsibilities Serve on university committees
REQUIREMENTS Doctorate in Computer Science (or a related discipline) required. Preferred candidates will have expertise in some or all of the following: AI/ML, Game Design and Development, IT, Cybersecurity, HPC Minimum of 3 years of full-time industry or teaching experience and a track record of scholarship. A focus on student-centered pedagogy, integration of technology in instruction, and the ability to engage with industry in the classroom are highly desired.
