Organizational Relationship: Reports to the Vice President for Student Affairs (VPSA) Position Status: Exempt, full-time Position Summary: The Athletic Director (AD) is the Chief Athletics Officer representing the athletics department. This position provides oversight, guidance, and supervision for all aspects of an intercollegiate athletic sports program in accordance with HIU's mission and the guidelines set forth by the GSAC, NAIA, and other regulatory bodies. The AD develops a collaborative and productive partnership between the athletics department and academic affairs, student affairs, enrollment management, university relations, and other administrative unit
