Professor of Biblical Greek (Communicative Approach)
Description Sattler College invites applications for a full-time instructor/professor of Biblical Greek (open rank). The professor may be asked to teach a variety of Bible courses, but the main responsibility will be to develop and teach a four-semester Koine Greek program for the College and a month-long intensive class for a summer languages institute (name TBD) that is in development. All of our students take at least one year of Greek, so this faculty member will profoundly shape the student experience. The applicant should have experience in leading with communicative methods (TPR, TPRS), aiming for at least 90% of in-class instruction to occur in Greek and then reinforcing this knowledge with traditional grammar instruction.
