This is a 9-month, tenure-track, online Assistant/Associate Professor position in the MSW program. Duties include course instruction, course development, serving as lead for assigned courses, recruitment, and activities commensurate with the mission of the University. A commitment to diversity and student success is essential. Salary is commensurate with experience. This position reports to the Dean and MSW Program Director in the Carver School of Social Work.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: We seek a creative, innovative, and collaborative faculty member with a commitment to advancing social work practice with individuals, families, groups, communities and organizations. The qualified applicant will possess an ability to teach courses across the curriculum, with preference given to those skilled in teaching practice courses. Preference will also be given for those with full time experience in online graduate education and evidence using technology. The qualified candidate presents a convincing teaching philosophy that aligns with the mission of the Carver School of Social Work.
