Position John Brown University seeks a full-time faculty member in the Visual Arts department with a strong commitment to teaching and the integration of Christian faith to begin on July 1, 2024. Responsibilities could include but are not limited to, teaching foundational core courses in illustration, media experience in oil and watercolor painting, ceramics, metal sculpture, leather craft, and other 3D-studio offerings, depending on the candidate’s areas of expertise.  Other responsibilities include academic advising of students, participation in departmental responsibilities, and growth as an artist, including regular work on personal projects, exhibitions, and competitions.
