Adult Degree Programs (ADP) is seeking a full-time Program Director to oversee the asynchronous online degree completion bachelor's degree program Psychology & Mental Health Studies (BA). This role will also assist in overseeing general education courses and requires at least a part-time presence in a Newberg campus office to collaborate with the larger ADP team. ADP Program Directors are tasked with teaching, coordinating adjuncts, and supervising ongoing revisions and improvements. Poised for growth, ADP is an innovative branch of George Fox Digital that houses online bachelor's degrees, certificates, and other stackable credentials. The Program Director is an 11-month faculty-administrator position that is half-time teaching and half-time administrative.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Oversee online bachelor's degree program in Psychology & Mental Health Studies, Behavioral Health Certificate, and general education courses.
Motivate, mentor, evaluate, and coach adjunct faculty; recruit and train new faculty members as needed, including maintenance of ADP online adjunct training.
Manage Canvas faculty course sites for content areas, approving syllabi and Canvas course sites, and overseeing assessment tools.
Attend regular ADP team meetings, working closely with other PDs, the Associate Dean, the Program Coordinator, the Registrar, and Admissions/Enrollment staff to ensure excellence.
Teach an online course load of 12-15 credits across 11 months.
By actions, words, and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role.
Qualifications
Terminal degree in a relevant field preferred; master's degree required.
Working experience in relevant field required.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching and ongoing commitment to continuous improvement within field of expertise.
Strong understanding of best practices in online teaching and learning, and ability to teach those methods to affiliated faculty, specifically during onboarding processes.
Ability to manage a large set of remote faculty, providing them with timely professional development and assuring their consistent quality with teaching diverse student populations.
Conceptual understanding of andragogy for crafting curriculum to serve the best interests of adult learners.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to function as part of a highly-collaborative team in the rapid production of online materials and courses.
