Job Description: What We Are Looking For:
The Manager of Recruitment will be responsible for planning, implementing, overseeing, and evaluating student recruitment efforts at Baylor's Truett Seminary for all instructional locations across all degree offerings. This individual will work with a host of Truett and Baylor staff, faculty, students, alumni, and constituent groups to coordinate effective strategies utilizing all means available to inform, attract, and eventually enroll qualified students. Additionally, the Manager of Recruitment will directly recruit prospective students for all Truett-delivered degree programs as well as for joint degree programs in partnership with other Baylor academic units.
A Bachelor's degree, 3 years of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith are required. A Master's degree and 5 years of relevant work experience are preferred. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
Applications must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do:
Planning, evaluating, implementing, and overseeing recruitment efforts at Baylor's Truett Seminary in all venues and degree offerings.
Assess, strategize, and coordinate recruitment efforts for all programs offered through Truett Seminary.
Utilize Slate as a primary recruitment tool and serve as a resource for training and developing Faculty & Staff.
This person will be responsible for engaging prospective students and responding to specific questions those students might have. They will serve as a conduit for program questions being channeled to the appropriate source for the answer to those questions.
Maintain constant communication with direct supervisor and Dean concerning trends, indices, and data concerning the marketplace for potential students.
This person will work with our Media and Marketing manager on a regular basis to consider the most effective social media tools in reaching potential students.
This person will take the responsibility of training, assessing, and collaborating with full time staff as it relates to recruitment in addition to the student workers previously enlisted by this role.
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
