Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Chemistry. This position is responsible for teaching lecture and laboratory courses as assigned within the Division of Natural Sciences and the College of Health, Science & Technology.
Teaches lecture and laboratory courses in Chemistry
Provides additional service to the program, division, college, university, profession, and community as needed
Maintains a robust record of scholarship
Pursues professional development in order to maintain best practices
Pursues original scholarship, preferably involving undergraduate students
Candidates must support and be committed to the mission and identity of Concordia University Chicago, a university of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS)
Strong administrative skills
Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Minimum Experience Required:
At least 1 year of teaching experience in higher education is required
An earned doctorate in Chemistry or other related discipline is required
Undergraduate certification or colloquy completion as a professional church worker in the LCMS is preferred
