Position Summary: The Teacher Education Department at Toccoa Falls College invites applications for a full-time faculty position starting August 1, 2023. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The position will primarily be tasked with the instruction and oversight of courses in the field of Teacher Education. Academic credentials and/or teaching experience at the elementary grade level is required for this position.
Teaching courses which focus on best practices in teaching and learning to undergraduate teacher candidates majoring in elementary education
Supervising teacher candidates during field experiences and/or clinical practice
Preparing and submitting timely grade reports
Organizing class assignments and relating them to the overall learning outcomes of the course
Providing input and working with other faculty and staff to evaluate program effectiveness
Advising students regarding course selections, graduation requirements, and other policies and procedures of the college and the Teacher Education program
Other duties as assigned
Skills &Attributes: Qualified candidates will evidence strong teaching skills, the ability to integrate faith and learning, a vibrant evangelical Christian faith, commitment to collaboration and teamwork, and a sincere commitment to the mission of the college.
Experience & Education: The ideal candidate will hold a doctoral degree from a regionally accredited university and possess experience in the field of teaching at the elementary grade level. Exceptional applicants with a master’s degree will be considered. Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level is highly desirable.

Toccoa Falls College is an evangelical, independent, and interdenominational college, affiliated with the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination. It seeks to maintain the biblical emphasis of a Christian college while offering the broad range of professional studies of a liberal arts college. Toccoa Falls College is located in the foothills of the northeast Georgia mountains, 95 miles north of Atlanta, GA and 65 miles south of Greenville, SC. The campus is situated on 1,100 beautiful acres and includes a 186’ high waterfall.
