About Corban University
Corban University is a Christian university whose purpose is to educate Christians who will make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ. The university is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. Corban provides a strong Bible-centered academic program with more than 50 majors and programs of study including professional, liberal arts, and ministries. Along with traditional and adult degree completion programs at the undergraduate level, Corban offers graduate teacher licensure programs and graduate degrees in education, business, counseling, and ministry. Where permitted by law and consistent with the school’s history, mission, and core values, Corban exercises religious preference throughout the University. Employees must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, agree with the University Statement of Faith, evidence a mature Christian faith, and be an active member of a Bible-believing, Gospel-preaching local church. Within these guidelines, it is our policy to provide equal opportunity to all applicants, employees and students and to not discriminate on the basis of gender, disability, race, color, national origin or age in access to, o...r treatment in employment. A Theology of Multicultural Inclusion: At Corban, we celebrate God’s beauty as expressed through cultural diversity. We aim to flourish as an eclectic Christian community, multiethnic, multicultural, and multinational in scope, happy in the knowledge that all people are created in God’s image and that God’s redemptive purposes extend to all. In everything we do, locally and globally, we strive to meet each other with a humble disposition, mindful always that we are saved by grace. And, in everything we do, we hope to demonstrate love, informed by the biblical mandate to love our neighbors as ourselves, knowing that we are—otherwise—clanging cymbals. Corban’s mission is to educate Christians who will make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ. To this end, and for God’s glory, we extend gratitude to all our brothers and sisters in Christ, and together—unified in purpose—we share the gospel with a broken world.
