SCHEDULE:

Responsibilities are conducted primarily weekdays but will include some evening and weekend events.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Primary responsibilities include leading outreach and recruiting efforts for the School of Engineering and Engineering Technology. The Director works directly with the Dean and Department Chairs to accomplish related strategic priorities. The Director also works closely with central administration units such as admissions, marketing, athletics, global initiatives, and development. Primary duties will be communicating with prospective students and their families, organizing engineering open house events, hosting engineering outreach activities and supporting central administration efforts related to recruiting and development. The opportunity to teach engineering courses also exists.

QUALIFICATIONS:

An ideal candidate would have a B.S. degree in any engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited institution and a Ph.D. in any technical engineering discipline, engineering education, or education with an emphasis in engineering.
