Lead the Office of the Registrar, providing excellent service to students, faculty and staff, and to ensure the accuracy of record-keeping and the integrity of data. 

• Directs the day-to-day work of the Office of the Registrar and completes planning, budgeting, and management responsibilities to support the successful operation of the team.
• Leads and empowers all personnel in the Office of the Registrar to support Bethel’s educational mission effectively by using effective hiring, personnel evaluation, team-building, strategic planning, and budget planning and control.
• Represents the responsibilities of the Office of the Registrar internally to the entire Bethel community, connecting especially to academic affairs offices, technology teams, Financial Aid, and the Business Office.
• Ensures that Bethel complies with the highest standards of the registrar’s profession, including FERPA, government, and legal regulations. Serves as internal expert on FERPA.
• Reports data accurately and in a timely way, including student enrollment and graduation data for external reports such as National Student Clearinghouse, National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), IPEDS, the Common Data Set, the VA, and SEVIS, as well as internally requested reports on course schedules and sections.

• Ability to represent the responsibilities of the Office of the Registrar to internal and external audiences.

Five years of successful and effective experience in a registrar’s office, five additional years of successful and effective experience in academic administration, including managing administrative functions preferred.

M.A. or equivalent in a relevant academic field required.
