Position The Department of Engineering at John Brown University (https://www.jbu.edu/engineering) seeks a full-time faculty member with a strong commitment to teaching and the integration of Christian faith to begin by July 1, 2022. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching courses in several areas of mechanical engineering at the undergraduate level (e.g., thermodynamics, heat transfer, and machine design). Additional opportunities to design/develop coursework in one’s area of expertise or specialization for the technical electives in the department. Other responsibilities include academic advising and mentoring students, recruiting for the major, and service on university committees.
