The Daniels Fund, established by cable television pioneer Bill Daniels, is a private charitable foundation dedicated to making life better for the people of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming through its grants program, scholarship program, and ethics initiative.
The Daniels Fund strives to ensure its work reflects both Bill Daniels’ written directives, and his unmistakable style. Bill was a patriotic American who served our country in two wars. He was a capitalist who loved our free enterprise system and was well known for his generosity to people from all walks of life. Guided by his compassion, Bill transferred his $1 billion estate to form the assets of the Daniels Fund to carry forward his legacy of giving.

The Systems Administrator responds to user helpdesk needs, maintains the servers and network, and manages vendor relationships to support the advancement of Bill Daniels’ legacy. The Systems Administrator may also have opportunities for projects and growth related to programming or cybersecurity activities.
The Systems Administrator will:
Respond to hardware and software problems identified by system users.
Provide technical assistance for specific information technology needs of system users.
Manage vendor relationships, including service contracts.
Serve as an administrator for servers, desktops, printers, and other network components.
Monitor and test established backup and recovery processes to ensure redundant sources in the event of system failures or natural disasters.
Maintain and manage hardware and software inventories.
Assist in the development and management of annual operating and capital budgets, including hardware replacement and software licensing.
Have opportunities for programming and/or cybersecurity duties, pursuant to development and interest.
Assist with special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

You are a technology professional. You have proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Server administration, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and Office365. You have knowledge of TCP/IP network concepts and troubleshooting, and generally strong troubleshooting skills. You have skills in PHP or Python programming and a cybersecurity certification, or interest in these areas.
You are results-driven with a demonstrated desire for impact. You have an unyielding focus on impact and are driven by a desire to achieve outcomes. You are motivated by the pursuit of long-term objectives and a focus on metrics for impact.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position will be in the range of $60,000 to $110,000 and is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Daniels Fund offers a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, health, dental, vision insurance, LTD, life insurance, a matched 401k retirement plan and a host of additional benefits.
