The Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations plans and implements targeted programs for corporate and foundation philanthropy supporting Regent University. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating activities, developing strategies, building relationships. drafting proposals. and raising funds from corporations and foundations. Essential duties will include the identification, cultivation. and solicitation of corporate and foundation prospects while working in close collaboration with deans, advancement officers and faculty members.
Bachelor's Degree required, with a Master's degree preferred
Three years or more of experience fundraising in an educational setting focused on corporate and foundation donors
Candidate must have:
Ability to function independently with excellence while working well in a ‘team oriented” environment, taking the initiative to be productive and efficient.
Ability to maintain consistent and positive communication.
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously and accurately in a detail-oriented environment.
Innovative engagement solutions to form lasting partnerships in working with donor prospects.
Integrity in maintaining the confidentiality of university and donor information.
