George Fox University is seeking an experienced consultant to work with University officials in the development of a Master's in Occupational Therapy (MOT) program. Position is designed to be part-time, approximately for 10 hours/week, for 6 months to be adjusted according to project need. The ideal applicant will bring expertise, experience, and knowledge regarding MOT program development. The consultant will work directly with the Executive Dean of the Wellness Enterprise and the Associate Provost for External Engagement and Strategic Initiatives. Communication skills, both oral and written, collaborative working style, and innovative/creative thinking are critical for this position.
The MOT program will be developed in synergy with George Fox University's mission, aims, and goals. Program development will also occur within the standards and parameters set by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education and by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. Familiarity with accreditation processes that govern MOT is a requirement of the position.

Experience in MOT program development
Experience with MOT accreditation processes
Professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred but not required
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within university systems preferred but not required
Strong communication and innovative thinking skills
Provide consultation on the design and development of the MOT program
Provide expert guidance on accreditation standards in relation to program development
Provide timely feedback and reports in keeping with our deadline of program launch in Fall, 2024
This faculty position reports directly to the Executive Dean of the Wellness Enterprise.
George Fox University is pursuing a launch date of Fall, 2024 for its first cohort. Program will be seeking ACOTE accreditation.
Job salary will be commensurate with experience.
