CLASSIFICATION: Assistant or Associate Faculty, Marketing
REPORTS TO: Chair, School of Business
POSITION SUMMARY: This faculty position entails teaching, advising, scholarship,university and community service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
(OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)
Teach face-to-face and online courses at the undergraduate level? Advise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students
Build program in Marketing
Serve on department and university committees
Demonstrate professionalism and integrity
Perform additional duties and functions as assigned by the Chair
Experience mentoring and teaching undergraduate students
Evidence of successful experience teaching face-to-face and online courses? Ability to communicate effectively in both face-to-face and online classroomenvironments
History of a personal research agenda
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Earned doctorate in Marketing
Successful teaching experience in higher education
Familiarity with research methods in the social sciences including experimentaldesign, quasi-experimental design, mixed method design, quantitative analysis, andqualitative analysis
Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet research andother digital tools
Eligibility to work in the U.S.
Excellent oral and written language skills
Outstanding Christian character
Positive recommendations from previous employers and former students? Commitment to serve students and the university
Interest in improving education at all level
