Faculty Careers - Business, Faculty Careers - Other
The Department of Business Administration of Simpson University invites applications for a full-time faculty position to begin August, 2021. Rank open. The successful applicant will teach undergraduate level courses in business administration in the traditional and evening degree completion programs. Computer Information Systems and Management courses will be the principle areas of instruction but assignment to teach other courses may be necessary due to the size of the department and the number of undergraduate majors. Simpson University is a liberal arts university with a Business Administration Department that currently offers a Business Administration degree with concentrations in Computer Information Systems, Marketing, and Management.
A Master’s degree/MBA is required. A PhD or DBA will be preferred. All applicants will be considered based on qualifications and teaching experience. All faculty members must carry an advising load and serve on academic and/or administrative committees. The teaching load is 4/4.
The preferred candidate will have some research experience, but the campus currently requires an emphasis on direct teaching abilities. Simpson seeks faculty with an enthusiastic and infectious Christian faith who are committed to Christian higher education and the integration of faith, learning and living .
