Higher Ed Administrative Careers - Admissions/Registrar
4 Year Degree
The Records Systems Specialist is responsible for the performance of a variety of duties related to Registrar’s Office Operations with an emphasis on scaling operations while maintaining the accuracy, maintenance, security and validation of student academic records. Essential duties of the position include:
Steward the University mission and vision and actively support the strategic priorities of the University
Update student records in accordance with industry and university standards
Create new program and course codes in Banner
Design and implement quality checks when directed
Process Graduate National Student Clearinghouse reports
Resolve and wherever possible eliminate National Student Clearinghouse errors
Assist with processing academic petitions and with other staff at peak times
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred
A minimum of 3-4 years experience working in higher education support services required
Banner experience strongly preferred
Candidate must have:
Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and data
Ability to work quickly and accurately, with attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to effectively work with other offices
Ability to be adaptable to changes in curricular design and academic policies
Excellent communication and customer service skills
