Faculty Careers - English Literature and Composition
The Department of English at Trevecca Nazarene University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in English, beginning in August 2021. Although the position is for a generalist and includes teaching duties in both composition and literature, Americanists who are able to teach broadly are especially encouraged to apply, as are Americanists with experience in technical or professional writing.
Trevecca seeks candidates with a strong Christian testimony and an unwavering commitment to Christ-centered teaching and learning. While preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. in hand, candidates with ABD status will be considered. The successful candidate will also participate in student advising, curriculum development, ongoing scholarship, and will demonstrate a strong commitment to the values and mission of the University. A willingness to develop and teach online courses is desired. A passion for working with undergraduate students in Christian higher education is essential.
