CCCU institutions are located around the world. Though they are diverse in size, scope, and mission, they are each committed to faith-integrated higher education.
The purpose of this position is to process handle all student accounts related duties for seminary students, excluding cashier duties. This includes billing, supporting collection activity assuring the accuracy of accounts, seeking resolution with students, submitting accounts to collection agencies, managing the account until payment is received, and approving students for class start.
Reports to the VP of Operations and Enrollment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee accuracy of student accounts
Answer student questions concerning accounts
Review EFC and make determination regarding tier of need-based scholarship
Make necessary adjustments to student accounts for withdrawals & registration changes.
Follow up on billing and payments to assure account remains current.
Oversee the seminary collections process
According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
Superior oral and written English communication skills and English.
Applicants who also have Spanish and/or French language skills will be given special consideration.
Excellent computer skills with working experience in a variety of applications, especially Word and Excel.
Ability to relate and interact well with bilingual pastors, ministerial students, Seminary faculty/staff, and IWU community.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and compliance with FERPA laws.
