Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Nursing to begin Fall 2021. Candidates should be able to develop and implement curricula in order to prepare students adequately for the challenges presented within all aspects of the nursing field. Duties may include as follows: teach theory, lab, and clinical; revise, review and/or develop curriculum as needed; complete all required professional development/training; collect and submit required assessment of student learning data; participate in appropriate campus and system committees, meetings, projects, and activities; other duties as assigned. Other responsibilities include scholarly engagement in the candidate’s specialization area, academic advising, nursing specific committee work, and other departmental duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will possess at least a Master’s Degree in Nursing with preference for a PhD in Nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. The candidate should have clinical experience, give evidence of scholarly potential, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.
