Regent University seeks a distinguished leader for the new position of Dean of the College of Healthcare Sciences. The Dean will provide visionary direction to propel Regent University forward and to advance its national and international reputation. The Dean’s primary objectives are to exercise and achieve innovative leadership, strategic vision, exponential enrollment growth, strong budget management, and entrepreneurial curricular and academic development in the new College of Healthcare Sciences. The successful Dean candidate will be responsible for leading the new College, its School of Nursing and its healthcare-related academic programs and initiatives. The Dean reports directly to the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and will work collaboratively with faculty and staff to advance the College’s mission. The Dean represents the College within the University and among a wide range of external audiences. The successful Dean candidate will be responsible for establishing and leading the new College, and will serve as a key member of the University leadership team. Qualifications: An earned Doctorate in Healthcare Management, Public Health, Health Services, Healthcare Informatics, Healthcare Administration or related discipline from a regionally accredited institution; extensive and progressively responsible experience in the healthcare industry; a combination of academic scholarship and/or professional achievement sufficient to support a faculty appointment at the level of Associate Professor or Professor; and a vibrant Christian life and testimony.
