Professor of Biology

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate degree in the biological sciences or health professions; an earned doctorate preferred.
• A demonstrated, vibrant Christian faith compatible with the mission of Greenville University.
• A commitment to excellence in teaching in the context of an undergraduate, liberal arts education.
• Experience in engaging students in learning in settings that may include classroom, laboratory, and online.
• Knowledge of the field with a record of scholarship and a willingness to engage undergraduate students in research.
• Desire to mentor undergraduate students in academic, research, and career goals.
• A commitment to the integration of Christian faith with the discipline of biology.
• Commitment to competent inter-cultural teaching
• Ability to engage in critical thinking and exercise independent judgment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral forms.
