| Position Description Trevecca Nazarene University invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track, faculty position in mathematics and developmental mathematics. Responsibilities will include leading the developmental mathematics program in collaboration with the Associate Dean of Student Success and teaching general education mathematics in the Department of Science, Engineering, and Mathematics. Specific duties each semester will include:
The position will be on a nine-month contract beginning Fall 2021. Full-time faculty load is 24-27 credit hours annually.

Qualifications Those with a masters or doctorate in mathematics or math education with at least 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be able to teach general education mathematics up through the pre-calculus level and will possess a passion for working with undergraduate students (particularly developmental mathematics students), organizational skills, an ability to work well with others, and a strong commitment to the ideals and mission of the university.
