Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Electrical and Computer Engineering program at Trevecca Nazarene University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. The successful candidate will have expertise to support the Electrical and Computer Engineering undergraduate program with primary emphasis in one or more of the following areas: computer architecture, microcontrollers, embedded systems, digital systems, signals and systems, circuit design, communication systems, or semiconductor electronics. In collaboration with our current engineering faculty, the candidate will be instrumental in the ABET-accreditation process. Additional responsibilities include teaching a broad range of courses in engineering, advising, and serving on university committees.

The successful candidate will demonstrate teaching excellence, passion for mentoring undergraduate students through innovative engineering projects, broad knowledge of engineering principles and practices, and a strong commitment to the mission of the university. This position is open until filled. A master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field is required; a Ph.D. is preferred. Industry experience and professional licensure are pluses.
