Regent University’s College of Arts & Sciences is seeking to fill a full-time, tenure-track faculty position commencing August 1, 2021, at the rank of assistant professor. This position will be located at Regent University’s Virginia Beach campus.

Qualifications: An earned Ph.D. in Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a closely related field and college or university teaching experience is required. Teaching and mentoring experience in academia, as well as evidence of academic publication success is preferred. The new professor will be expected to direct master and doctoral theses, dissertations, and directed projects, conduct original research leading to publication, and serve on doctoral dissertation committees. Those with expertise in new media technologies and any of the following areas are particularly sought: strategic communication, qualitative and/or quantitative research methods, media and the church, and/or data analytics. Salary is competitive and commensurate with academic and professional experience.
