Accreditation and Assessment Director

Under the supervision of the Dean of Operations or his designate, the Accreditation and Assessment Director is responsible for the administration, facilitation, and management of adherence to and compliance in national and regional accreditation, including assessment, for the programs of The Moody Bible Institute of Chicago (MBI).

Essential Functions

• Coordinates annual reports for accreditation agencies (HLC, ABHE, ATS, NASM, ACSI) and state authorization reports
• Maintains awareness of programmatic accreditation and compliance requirements with all agencies and states.
• Coordinates self-study process for accreditation events
• Ensure compliance with state authorizations as required by law
• Oversees the administration, facilitation, and management of data needed to implement the academic assessment cycle, under the director of the Associate Director of Educational Data Analytics.
• Creates and oversees the assessment process.
• Supervises the Accreditation Assistant
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Master's degree
• Five years or more experience in higher education
• Strong writing skills
• Well-developed time management and organization skills
• Demonstrate ability to coordinate/manage multiple projects
• Authorized to work in the US legally without sponsorship

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

This is a full-time position: Monday through Friday office hours

Some travel is expected for this position.
