Regent University’s School of Nursing (SON) is seeking a visionary candidate to serve as its next director. SON offers an RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Master of Science in Nursing. The successful candidate will be a forward-thinking nursing pioneer who is able to identify, define and address pivotal healthcare issues of today and anticipate those of tomorrow. The director’s position offers a unique opportunity for a talented, entrepreneurial, and innovative leader to make SON the “Destination of Choice” for the education and training of future nursing and healthcare professionals. The new director will report directly to the Dean of the College of Healthcare Sciences and will serve as the spiritual, academic, intellectual, and administrative leader of SON, as well as its Chief Nursing Administrator. The successful candidate should have a record of influential scholarship, must possess outstanding academic credentials commensurate with a tenured appointment at the rank of professor, must demonstrate robust clinical experience, and be a dedicated educator with a deep commitment to student success.

Qualifications: A terminal degree in Nursing is preferred. Individuals with a terminal degree in another related field in addition to a graduate degree in nursing, and exceptional candidates with master’s degrees and extensive applicable experience will also be considered. A minimum of five years of administrative experience is required. |
