Messiah University
The Graduate Program in Higher Education is offering graduate assistantships on the Messiah University campus as well as at several partner institutions including Anderson University, Catawba College, Bluffton University and Gonzaga University. Graduate assistants will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working on a college or university campus while pursuing either a Master of Arts in Higher Education or a Master of Arts in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership degree through Messiah. The priority deadline to apply is February 8, 2021. Numerous coaching positions are available such as Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Cross Country/Track and Field, Softball, and Wrestling. Numerous Student Affairs positions are available such as Service and Learning, Student Financial Services, Student Success & Engagement, and Residence Director. These are two year, 20 hours/week, appointments not to exceed 800 hours/year. Commitment runs from approximately August 6th – May 25th each of the two years. Education required: Bachelor's degree required; current acceptance and enrollment in one of the degrees within the graduate program in Higher Education at Messiah University. Special working conditions: Occasional weekend and evening hours as priorities demand. Christian faith commitment required.
