The Graduate Admissions Office is seeking a customer focused, sales oriented, and values driven Graduate Admissions Counselor to join our highly successful Admissions Team. You will promote the values and strengths of George Fox's programs to potential students, building on a solid understanding of their goals and priorities in the workforce. Develop, implement and analyze recruitment strategies for assigned programs to include correspondence, presentations, information meetings, interviews, and follow-up strategies.
Establish and foster relationships with influencers in the assigned programs via personal visits and frequent communication to facilitate and/or enhance student recruitment.
Provide overview of and direct prospective students to appropriate student services including financial aid, registrar, and housing options.
Research market and analyze trends regarding assigned academic programs. Collaborate with Graduate Admissions Director and academic program directors to develop long-term strategies. Contribute to the setting of recruitment and enrollment goals
Prepare and organize graduate student credentials for program admissions committees.
Represent the University as an exhibitor at career fairs, professional conferences, and trade shows. Travel as necessary on behalf of the University. Research new venues
and assess effectiveness of attended conferences, shows, and fairs.
Support admissions and recruitment efforts in all graduate programs as a member of the Graduate Admissions team.
Provide input for marketing efforts, including publications, advertising, campus visits, and web site information. Evaluate effectiveness of plan and suggest modifications.
Establish and maintain a dynamic, cooperative relationship with program directors and faculty in areas of assigned programs.
Other duties as assigned.
Respond to prospective student inquiries via email and phone, selling GFU programs
Host in-person opportunities for students to visit campus (i.e. for info sessions, class, and tours)
Research and develop marketing strategies with the help of MarCom
Prepare reports on admissions new student goals and progress toward said goals
Manage the application review and interview process with help from the program coordinator and/or director
Bachelor's Degree Required

Full time position, Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
